On your computer

TokenScope stores usage metadata locally: session and model identifiers, timestamps, token counters, chat titles, source paths and display preferences. Chat titles can contain personal information. Message text is read only transiently to find counters and is not saved to the database, CSV exports or diagnostics. Source logs are never modified.

Network

Collecting history does not use the network. If the Codex CLI is installed and signed in, TokenScope asks it for your allowance windows about once a minute. That request uses the CLI’s existing sign-in; TokenScope doesn’t copy credentials, and keeps only the allowance percentages and reset times. There is no telemetry, cloud sync or automatic update service.

Optional Completion Outlook

Off by default. When you turn it on and request an analysis, it reads the selected chat’s text in memory on your computer. Nothing is sent to a model or service, and message text and results aren’t stored.

Your data, your choice

History and backups stay in %APPDATA%\tokenscope until you delete them. CSV exports and backups contain chat titles, so share them only intentionally.

Website hosting may process requests and security logs. Downloads are served from siriusxai.com. Support emails contain your address and whatever you choose to share. For privacy requests, email siriusxai@siriusxai.com.
