Install

Run TokenScope-0.3.0-alpha.6-Setup.exe. It installs for your Windows account only and does not need administrator rights. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show Windows protected your PC. Choose More info → Run anyway only if the file came from this page and its SHA-256 matches the value on the download page.

No usage showing?

TokenScope reads the local logs that Claude Code and Codex already write: %USERPROFILE%\.claude\projects and %USERPROFILE%\.codex\sessions. CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR and CODEX_HOME are respected. If you keep them elsewhere, choose the folder in Settings. If neither tool has been used on this computer, the dashboard stays empty.

The floating meter

Click Floating meter on the dashboard. Hold and drag anywhere on the meter except its buttons to move it. The close button hides only the meter; the dashboard keeps running. The meter uses the same date range as the dashboard. Choose All history for lifetime totals.

Following the open chat

With Follow open chat on, the meter switches to the chat whose title matches the window you are using. If a title is missing, ambiguous or unavailable, TokenScope keeps the last selection and says so rather than guessing.

Back up, upgrade or uninstall

History lives in %APPDATA%\tokenscope. Use Settings → Back up history before major changes. Installing a newer version over the old one keeps your history, and uninstalling leaves it in place unless you delete that folder.

Email siriusxai@siriusxai.com with your TokenScope version and what you expected. Settings → Export diagnostics creates a report without chat titles, messages, paths or credentials. Please don’t send chat logs or databases.
