1. Check your platform
Choose the matching Personal or Professional Windows x64 installer; the current installers are unsigned. On an Apple Silicon Mac, download the read-only Mac Preview instead (macOS 11 or later). It is not yet signed by Apple, so on first launch open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
2. Begin with a read-only Trial
Run supported scans and inspect the coverage limitations. Trial shows all returned deleted records and 10% of other details, rounded down. Purge remains disabled.
3. Choose a license if needed
Compare editions. Personal is for your own individual use; Professional adds supported organizational and advanced technical workflows. Review price, quantity, tax and terms before paying.
4. Activate and review
Enter the delivered key in the matching edition and connect for validation. Keep backups. Review every target and operation before confirming any destructive action.
