ScanDel Terms of Service

1. Product and contact

ScanDel is provided as a SiriusXAI product. The seller and billing details appear at checkout and on your receipt. Contact siriusxai@siriusxai.com about use, licensing or a purchase.

2. Authorized use and your responsibility

Inspect or assess only files, systems and repositories you own or are authorized to handle. Do not use ScanDel for unlawful access, credential misuse, infringement or interference with other people’s systems.

Keep backups and review each target before confirming a destructive action. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate operation and understanding its storage and coverage limitations.

3. Trial and paid editions

Trial is read-only: all returned deleted-record findings remain visible, while 10% of other finding details are shown, rounded down. Purge is disabled. A small result set may show no other details.

Personal is for individual/personal use. Professional is for organizational and supported advanced technical workflows. A paid license covers one named user and up to two active devices. Professional is priced per user. Do not share, resell or publicly disclose license keys.

4. Purchase and activation

The published base prices are US$19.99 for Personal and US$39.99 per user for Professional, one time, excluding applicable tax. Review the edition, quantity, localized currency and total at Dodo checkout. These offers are not recurring subscriptions.

Use the delivered license key in the matching edition; a receipt alone does not activate it. Online validation is required. A purchase does not promise every future major version, custom work or paid third-party services unless the offer expressly says so.

5. Scope and platform limits

The current Windows x64 installers are unsigned. A read-only, unsigned macOS Preview for Apple Silicon is available; it cannot purge or be activated with a paid license. Deleted-record scans read supported accessible Recycle Bin metadata; records do not prove recovery of file contents. Existing files are labelled separately.

A paid license cannot make unsupported records deletable, bypass storage limits or guarantee comprehensive physical erasure. Logical overwrite, TRIM and storage-specific operations have different limits. Government use does not imply government certification.

6. Payments, rights and changes

Dodo buyer terms and the payment-provider process apply to purchases. ScanDel purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Dodo Payments rules; read the Refund Policy before paying.

Nothing here excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Changes do not retroactively change the stated price or rights of a completed purchase. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
